Tom Homan - Did he or didn't he?
In September 2024, Tom Homan, Donald Trump's former Head of ICE was the target of an FBI sting operation. Undercover agents allegedly recorded him accepting $50,000 in cash in exchange for the promise of future government border security contracts. At the time of the sting, Homan was a private citizen.
One year later, the Trump administration's Justice Department closed the investigation, citing a lack of credible evidence. The White House denies Homan ever accepted the money and has characterized the entire operation as a politically motivated attempt to entrap a key presidential ally.
The decision to close the case has sparked significant controversy. Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are alleging a potential cover-up and have demanded that the Justice Department and FBI release all recordings and files from the investigation. Attorney General Pam Bondi has repeatedly deflected questions from Congress on the matter, calling the original probe a "blatantly political investigation." A nonprofit organization has also sued the government to force the release of the recordings under the Freedom of Information Act.

Ok, so he was former President Donald Trump’s Head of ICE, current private citizen, but promised the job of Border Czar, should Trump win the White House in the coming election. He was suspected of taking bribes from private companies should he get that role and the FBI allegedly ran a sting. He allegedly took a bag containing $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. But a year later, Attorney General Pam Bondi says, ‘nothing to see here,’refuses to answer questions and, of course, Mr. Homan now serves as the Border Czar.
As a private citizen, Mr Homan cannot be charged with conspiracy, but he can be charged with conspiracy to commit bribery. There is also the question, if the act occurred, what happened to the bag containing $50,000 of taxpayer money. Finally, if the act occurred, why is our nation’s chief law enforcement officer saying, ‘nothing to see here.’ It would seem a simple matter to track down the Agents in question. There was either a sting with videotape or there wasn’t. Of course, if there was, and the FBI Director, Attorney General, and President are saying there wasn’t…
